Expanding the Scope of Businesses Internationally and Regionally, Opening New Markets, and Achieving Strong Partnerships

In its effort to create a suitable environment and a healthy climate to drive the growth of Egypt’s information sector, the Chamber of Information Technology & Telecommunications (CIT) has developed a strategic vision centered on key pillars. This plan aims to build upon the projects initiated by previous boards in past years and to continue ongoing projects.

The strategic vision establishes general frameworks and success criteria for every project, initiative, or activity adopted by the Chamber through various divisions and working groups. This is achieved by relying on clear performance evaluation standards, identifying success stories, and tackling challenges. The strategy promotes and supports creativity and innovation among all member companies while enhancing the financial capabilities of Egyptian companies by providing various investment and financing opportunities.

Additionally, the vision emphasizes collaboration with civil society organizations, integrating their efforts into programs aimed at advancing the overall sector. The strategy is based on ensuring multiple self-funding resources to support the growth of businesses, programs, and activities.

The objectives of these efforts are to raise awareness and represent Egyptian companies operating in this sector in other industries and markets, both directly and indirectly, by organizing various events and activities and communicating with key stakeholders in these markets.

International Networking

We communicate with our counterpart Chambers in target markets in other countries and work on organizing networking meetings between companies in Egypt and those abroad. The Chamber provides partial support for Egyptian companies to attend these missions. Additionally, we offer consultations to companies, answering their questions regarding the mechanisms for exporting their services.

Our Go to Africa initiative includes trade missions to several African countries such as Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe. These missions involve participating in international exhibitions organized in these countries, as well as inviting representatives from these nations to attend exhibitions held by the Chamber.
