The Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunication in Egypt is evolving to meet the future needs of the ICT sector. Our updated vision and mission reflect the rapidly changing landscape of ICT in Egypt, aligned with the nation's 2030 vision. The chamber plans to take a proactive role in driving sector growth by advocating supportive policies, engaging the private sector, and empowering our members. We will strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, promote innovation, and support growth locally and globally. Our initiatives, such as the Chamber’s connection program and its Academy for capacity building, place the chamber at the forefront of Egypt’s thriving ICT ecosystem. The strategy focuses on three main pillars:
Fostering and supporting the Egyptian ICT ecosystem
- Strengthening connections among stakeholders, including industry, government institutions, academia, and business support entities, fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge-sharing for economic and technological advancement.
- Leading the digital transformation movement by raising awareness of its importance and benefits in alignment with national priorities across public and private sectors.
- Encouraging technology transfer and innovation through collaboration that accelerates technological progress within the ICT sector.
- Expanding support for ICT companies by providing resources, tools, and IT services to further their growth.
- Monitoring the maturity of national digital transformation and policy alignment: Utilizing the chamber's data and vision, the chamber will work closely with the government, industry leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that policies and regulations align with the evolving needs and objectives of the telecommunications and information technology sector, as well as the interests of member companies.
