The main activities and initiatives
The Chamber of Information Technology & Telecommunications has launched several national and developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing local demand for Egyptian products, services, and applications. We focus on raising awareness of the services provided by companies operating in the ICT industry, presenting and representing them to other industries both directly and indirectly through various activities.One of the most important activities and initiatives undertaken by the CIT is the development of domestic demand for the information technology industry:-
Digital Nation Annual Conference (2014)
CIT “Digital Nation” Annual Conference is the largest annual technology event and gathering of IT companies, serving as a forum for all tech industry professionals. Held annually in Cairo, the conference aims to enhance the businesses of CIT member companies by addressing the needs of companies and factories across various fields. It provides awareness lectures and workshops to discuss these needs, thereby raising awareness among companies in different industries about the importance of using information technology.
The conference also allows companies to present their products and services in an organized manner. It invites participants from various sectors, representative chambers, and developmental bodies interested in Egypt's industry, as well as other chambers of commerce in Arab and African countries. The conference is held under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), and the Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA), effectively serving the sector and local companies.
Networking Events (Matchmaking)
CIT organizes networking events for companies and factories in various industrial cities across Egypt in cooperation with investors' associations, the Egyptian Federation of Industries, and relevant authorities. These meetings aim to understand the needs of companies and factories from different industries and to provide the latest solutions and systems offered by member companies of the Chamber working in the IT sector across different business systems.
Digital Transformation Committee for the Chambers of FEI Initiative
We have established a Digital Transformation Committee for the Chambers within the Federation of Egyptian Industries. This committee includes all industrial chambers and aims to support the progress of these chambers and the Federation of Industries in implementing their digital transformation plans.

ManuTech Manufacturing Technology Initiative
The ManuTech Manufacturing Technology Initiative aims to create Egyptian startups that serve the industrial community through integrated solutions and systems based on the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The initiative seeks to expand the horizons of the manufacturing sector's capabilities by increasing efficiency, productivity, quality, and production options, thereby supporting local manufacturing and the economy.
