USAID - FEI – CIT
USAID Business Egypt aims to substantially increase sales revenues and investments among Egyptian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and, by so doing, create new job opportunities, especially for women and youth.
The program will co-invest with an ecosystem of institutions - business service providers, business associations, supportive government institutions, and more - to offer new products and services, enabling MSMEs to better meet market demand and increase their sales.

Areas of Cooperation:
Establishment of BDS in FEI that serves all chambers and all related counterparts and stakeholders
Develop a plan for the digital transformation of the Federation and its affiliated chambers of industry.
Facilitating procedures, policies, and internal systems to develop and easily provide services to private sector
Facilitating communication and integration between the Federation of Industries and all industrial chambers and between
Facilitate communication between the chambers and their members and facilitate procedures and subscriptions for them.
Exchange of information and services between the different industrial chambers under the umbrella of the federation.
A unified database for chamber members that includes all members of the 19 industrial chambers.
A unified electronic payment system in line with financial inclusion and electronic payments.
Supports the Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunication:
to play its role as a center for business development services to its member companies to grow and expand through developing its strategy and building the capacity of the Human resources to enhance the communication channels and upgrade the Chamber's services to better benefit and serve the member companies.


ManuTech Challenge:
Business Egypt, in collaboration with the Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunication (CIT) which is the biggest semi-government Association – NGO in the Communication and Information technology industry in Egypt, organized an innovation challenge focused on CIT’s ManuTech component.
This exciting innovation challenge aims to unveil the potential of local manufacturing and fuel the growth of entrepreneurship in Egypt and also aims to support entrepreneurs by strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem, assisting MSMEs to adapt and grow, and furthering the business-enabling environment by addressing MSME challenges to ensure their sustainability and growth.
